Universal Studios Home Entertainment will bring Grimm: Season One to Blu-ray in August. This supernatural procedural stars David Giuntoli (Caroline and Jackie) as Nick Burkhardt, a homicide detective in Portland, Oregon, who learns that he is the newest member of the Grimm order; Grimms help maintain harmony between humans and mythical creatures known only through fairy tales.
Along with his partner Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby, Stuck) and reformed creature Eddie Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell, Flags of Our Fathers), Nick immerses himself in this new vocation, only to encounter strange magic and ancient rivalries he never thought possible.
Created by Stephen Carpenter (Blue Streak), David Greenwalt (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), and Jim Kouf (Angel), Grimm also features appearances from Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio (Scarface), Amy Acker (The Cabin in the Woods), Titus Welliver (Deadwood) and Sebastian Roche (Supernatural).
