Hitman Gets Unrated Blu-ray Release

Fox Home Entertainment has announced that they will bring 'Hitman' to Blu-ray on March 11th in its unrated form. The disc will feature a massive amount of extras, including deleted scenes, alternate ending, four featurettes, and a gag real. Also included with be a standard definition digital copy (presumably on a separate DVD) enabling you to put a digital copy of the film on your portable device.
A top assassin known only as Agent 47 (Olyphant) is hired by a covert organization "The Agency" to kill targets for cash. He later becomes ensnared in a political conspiracy that finds him pursued by both Interpol and the Russian military as he treks across Eastern Europe.

intresting news that a dvd is coming with the blu-ray. they should start doing more of this and possibly making that the only release. |

About time fox gives us the unrated or extended cut of a movie. I'm looking forward to this, but I think it might have to be a rental first. |

I guess I'm a bit cynical after the Live Free or Die Hard issue and worry that they'll correct the announcement in a week or say to clarify that only the DVD has the unrated version. |

I prefer movies based off of video games directed by Uwe Boll...on that note I guess I will pick this one up even though it will not be the type of high caliber movie that Uwe puts out. ;') |

Hope it's not be combo style, where it has to be flipped like the HD DVD titles. Great that we get unrated version. |
