Next month, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will bring Detention to Blu-ray. Starring Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games), Shanley Caswell (Bones), Dane Cook (Mr. Brooks), and Spencer Locke (Monster House), director Joseph Kahn's surreal, visually extreme horror-comedy focuses on a group of high-school students who must endure a hellish senior year.
From Sony's official synopsis:
"In Detention...the local students of Grizzly Lake must survive their final year of high school. Standing in their way is Cinderhella, a slasher-movie killer who has seemingly come to life and is preying on the school's student body. As the clock ticks and the bodies pile up, the likely suspects are embroiled in a race against time to stop Cinderhella and ultimately save the world....if only they can get out of detention."
Sony's Blu-ray presents the film in its 2.39:1 original aspect ratio with a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track. The disc also contains a number of supplements, such as:
