This month, IFC and MPI Home Entertainment will bring The Decoy Bride to Blu-ray. Director Sheree Folkson's romantic comedy stars Kelly MacDonald (Boardwalk Empire), Alice Eve (Sex and the City 2), and David Tennant (Fright Night) as three people trying to keep a high-profile celebrity wedding from reaching the eyes of the paparazzi.
From IFC's official synopsis:
"When the wedding plans of internationally famous Hollywood film star Lara (Eve) and English author James (Tennant) are sabotaged by a paparazzo, the couple decides to relocate the event to the remote Scottish island of Hegg...They approach local girl Katie (MacDonald) to have her act as a decoy bride to lure the press off the trail. Katie is in the dumps after a romantic setback and she needs the money, so she agrees to the oddball arrangement. But when poor Katie meets suave James, sparks fly, dresses get ruined, and suddenly love gets complicated."
IFC has not yet detailed the Blu-ray's technical and supplementary specifications.
