Two Jacques Becker Films Heading to Blu-ray

GaumontFrench distributors Gaumont will add two films directed by Jacques Becker to their Classics Collection: Antoine et Antoinette a.k.a Antoine and Antoinette (1947), starring Roger Pigaut, Claire Mafféi and Noël Roquevert, and Les amants de Montparnasse a.k.a Modigliani of Montparnasse (1958), starring Gérard Philipe (Fanfan La Tulipe), Lilli Palmer and Lea Padovani. Both films will be available for purchase on September 19th.

Nice catalog titles, but I'm wondering when someone will release Le Trou on blu. Arguably among the finest prison films ever made.

Absolute incredible news!!! I saw 'Les amants de Montparnasse ' on TV, in a bad copy and just was wonderful,
it´s never been on DVD or VHS! Thank you Gaumont!
