Independent film distributor Kino Lorber has issued its Blu-ray slate for September 2012. Releases are arranged through Kino's different distribution branches - Kino Classics, Kino Lorber, Redemption Films, Jezebel Films, and Horizon Movies.
The September titles include:
Got excited at the words "Wong Kar-wai," and disappointed realizing it's just a repackage. I have those Blu-rays. I want a US release for Days of Being Wild, in one of their lovely slipboxes.
These arent the Bava titles I want. For some reason I cant get into Black Sunday or Hatchet for a Honeymoon. I do like Black Sabbath and Planet of the Vampires...and Baron Blood
Can't wait for the Bavas! But - on the subject of Bava - it would be nice to see a new edition of Blood and Black Lace, there isn't even a good version on DVD.
OK - just looked at the review and caps for Seduction of Mimi (Kino BD) on this very site. Looks like another Italian noise riddled transfer. Kino's been pretty good, but I am really concerned now about the Bavas..
I can't believe Au Pair Girls is getting a BD release. I wonder how long before Can You Keep It Up For A Week and Sex And The Other Woman get released so I can unload my Naughty Britain Collection
