Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will bring The Raid: Redemption to Blu-ray in August. Director Gareth Evans' ferocious action-thriller reunites him with his Merantau star Iko Uwais, who plays a beleaguered SWAT team member trying to survive a desperate assault on a drug lord's apartment complex.
From Sony's official synopsis:
"Deep in the heart of Jakarta's slums lies an impenetrable safe house for the world's most dangerous killers and gangsters. Until now, the rundown apartment block has been considered untouchable. Cloaked under the cover of pre-dawn darkness and silence, an elite swat team is tasked with raiding the safe house in order to take down the notorious drug lord that runs it. But when a chance encounter with a spotter blows their cover and news of their assault reaches the drug lord, they find themselves stranded on the 6th floor with no way out. The unit must fight their way through the city's worst [criminals] to survive their mission."
Sony's Blu-ray/UltraViolet Digital Copy combo pack presents The Raid in a 1.78:1 aspect ratio with a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track. The disc is also expected to include the following supplements:

Great action movie! I thought every fight scene was the best fight scene I had ever scene and then the next fight scene would top that one, it was insane. Definitely a day 1 purchase from me.
@hahe71: BD.com's listing page shows it as English. Not that that means anything, but it's probably where Vegetto got the idea that the DTS track is in English.
UPDATE: Sony has offically announced specs and bonus features for this release. The Blu-ray will boast a 1.78:1 widescreen transfer, encoded in 1080p/AVC, with English 5.1, Spanish (Castilian) 5.1, Spanish (Latin Am) 5.1, Portuguese (Brazil) 5.1, Indonesian / Bahasa 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.
