Neil Young's continuously delayed "Archives" project will finally be released later this year on both DVD and Blu-ray (no CD release is planned). The first set, 'Volume 1: 1963 - 1972', will feature unreleased studio tracks and live performance from the legendary song writer, as well as accompanying book with interviews and personal notes. No specs or track lists are available at this time.
I've been waiting for this for YEARS, including all of 2007 when Reprise Records put up a website saying 'Coming soon in 2007.' I really hope this pans out.
one of the best things about blu-ray is the superior audio, making me buy the concert and music releases on blu, i picked up the last waltz and it was great with PCM, so this better get PCM.
