Next month, Lionsgate Home Entertainment will bring Boss: Season One to Blu-ray. Created by Farhad Safinia (Apocalypto) and featuring episodes directed by acclaimed filmmakers such as Gus Van Sant (Good Will Hunting) and Mario Van Peebles (New Jack City), this Starz Original program stars Golden Globe-winner Kelsey Grammer (X-Men: The Last Stand) as Chicago mayor Tom Kane, who presides over the city using his legislative power for ethically questionable means.
When Kane learns he has a devastating neurological disorder, the news unsettles his normally ruthless facade, and he finds himself scrambling for control, both to preserve his powerful image as well as to prevent evidence of his more unscrupulous activities from leaking to the public.
