Ridiculously overpriced! The standalone steelbook edition is €18. So basically they charge €80 for that book...!
It's available separately for $33. What's up with Universal in Germany? Have they gone nuts?
Thinking also about the pathetic "collector's edition" of E.T.; €160 for a stupid, ugly plastic toy.
I wonder what nutcases are really buying both their merchandise strategies and the products themselves...

I love how they can use the name "Jaws" on the book, but not the actual disc. pretty ridiculous. I can't see many fans wanting their Jaws steelie to say "Der Weisse Hai".
I mean, gimme a break.

Come on, who's goner buy JAWS under that title? For a big international release the title should be as is.

And yeah, agreed way over priced.

Yeah, heaven forbid they use a German title for a German release. English isn't spoken everywhere, people. The book is in English because it was only printed in English.

Waste of money. If you just want the Steelbook (that actually says Jaws on the front) it's $28 shipped from Amazon.co.uk.

There is a Best buy exclusive Digibook available upon release instead of the plain Blu ray/slipcover edition. You would think Universal would go all out for one of their original Jewels in their crown.

I hope there's a US release of the steelbook.

The book is awesome - had it a year and still reading it, loads of detail.

Just another way to wast money instead of releasing this why don't they just also release Jaws 2 and 3 on blu ray instead

Best Buy will have a digibook, but everyone seems in the dark as to why these classic American titles get special packaging in other countries except for the U.S. I mean the movies were produced here for heaven's sake. Does anyone have any clue? Strange. Ultimately it's the movie that matters, but Region A people would like the choice for collectibles too
