The new Disney/PIXAR fairy tale fantasy adventure animated film Brave (2012,
Mark Andrews, Brenda Chapman) is available for pre-order in regular 2D and 3D editions from Amazon according to an early retail announcement.
Exact technical specifications and details of the supplements haven't been disclosed yet and
will be posted when available, but as is usual with these Disney/PIXAR titles we expect a good assortment of
i will order the 2d for myself and my neice if this scheduled to come out near her birthday or xmas if it comes out in December which it may. She loved the movie when i took her and so did I. As for the price being too high, you know it will drop by release date.
The price will definitely drop. Just look at The Avengers. The 3D Combo is now $29.96 on Amazon, so those who got the $5 coupon will now pay $24.96 for the 3D combo. Same thing should normally happen with Brave.

I went to purchase this on Amazon, knowing the price would drop but the coupon would still apply, but Amazon added tax to it. That's never happenned before. Anyone know why now?
If u live in California and maybe some other states taxes will start being apply to orders thru Amazon in September or October due to an agreement with between Amazon and different states. Lots of States have complain that they are getting cheated out by online orders by not getting taxes they would have gotten should someone buy these at local retail store. This product is coming out in December so that is why u are getting taxed. Haven't heard if u get a fixed tax rate or the state tax rate in your area though. California is about 8.25% give or take .50%.
For those complaining the price is high, keep in mind that Amazon drops prices all the time the closer it gets to release date. We may end up getting the 5-disc set pretty close to $20 thanks to the coupon, once the price on Amazon drops.
I understand your frustration. You have a legitimate gripe, but did you ever consider buying this cheaper version and selling just the 3D disc on Ebay to offset your savings even more? A lot of folks do this because tons of people just want the 3D disc anyway to put in their Best Buy exclusive collector's tin. Just a thought.
The price at Deep Discount looks good and I was tempted to place an order with them as Amazon doesn't price match on anything but TVs. I researched customer feedback for Deep Discount and found far too many negative reviews complaining about very poor customer service, slow delivery and credit cards being charged before the movie even ships, etc. Doesn't sound like a good company to do business with.
Everybody, i'm FINALLY STOP THE Region coding putting! Can the community of Blu-ray.com other than me do the future Blu-ray releases for Region coding putting??? Thanks because i'm F*** up the community of Blu-ray.com.... CALL ME the worst user of Blu-ray.com putting on Region coding putting
Interesting that the last time I looked at the amazon page, they removed the link to "inform them of a lower price." Guess they got enough notice that Deepdiscount is undercutting them and they don't care.
Although I am not crazy about the coupon for just the 3d version, it is still a very good price especially if the price drops a few bucks, you cant go wrong. As for Deep Discount, not worth any of the hassle
I'm going to stick with Amazon. Deep Discount has a history of "canceling" all orders/pre-orders on something for different reasons. If this happened in this instance, you may miss out on the Amazon $8 coupon.
