In September, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will bring Resident Evil: Damnation to Blu-ray. This animated sequel to the popular Resident Evil: Degeneration focuses on the continuing adventures of special agent Leon Kennedy as he tries to uncovers the Umbrella Corporation's nefarious doings.
From Sony's official synopsis:
"Kennedy sneaks into a small Eastern Europe country to verify rumors that Bio Organic Weapons (B.O.W.s) are being used in war. Right after his infiltration, the US government orders him to leave immediately. Determined to uncover the truth, Leon ignores the order and enters the battlefield to end the chain of tragedies caused by the B.O.W.s."
Sony's Blu-ray/UltraViolet Digital Copy combo pack presents the film in a 1.78:1 aspect ratio with a 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio track. The disc also contains the following supplements:
Conceptual art gallery
The DNA of Damnation behind-the-scenes featurette
Las Plagas: Organisms of War feature
Gag reel on English version
Resident Evil: Damnation streets on September 25th.
Resident Evil Games and the CG films are recorded in English only. They are released in Japan in English with Japanese subtitles. The reason there is no Japanese audio track is because it doesn't exist.
@BluProfile: It's true when talking about the games. The Japanese BD and DVD release of Degeneration however DID in fact have a Japanese DUB as well. I'm calling it a dub as English is the language these films were intended to be watched in, however, the alternative does exist.
