Amazon's Blu-ray Deal of the Week affects The Die Hard Collection. Through July 28th, Amazon is offering the set for $21.99 (a 69% discount from its MSRP of $69.99).
The Die Hard Collection bundles together all four films in Twentieth Century Fox's popular action franchise, which centers on the increasingly catastrophic adventures of John McClane (Bruce Willis, Pulp Fiction), a cynical policeman who finds himself battling vicious terrorists in each Die Hard entry. The series includes:
The Blu-ray package also features a wide assortment of bonus supplements, including retrospective documentaries, interviews with cast and crew members, and audio commentaries.
This deal expires at 12 AM PST/3 AM EST next Sunday, July 29th.
Good price, but I think I'll wait for the collection that will contain the fifth Die Hard that comes out in early 2013. Or maybe wait until they quit making them.
Yeah, plus the R rated cut of 'Live Free or Die Hard' on DVD only is better. Sanitizing the language and some of the bloodier moments just didn't work. Nothing against PG-13 action films, some are great, but Die Hard HAS to be R
Wait, what, the Bluray got the "rated Theatrical version" , but supposedly the DVD got the "unrated version", but a few profanity lines are missing in that. From what I understand this is whats missing...
"F*ing idiot! F!" when McClane rips the airbag"
Yet, all other regions have the unaltered unrated or theatrical versions depending on region...((On DVD))
wasn't this 19.99 or at least the amazon price at best buy for the longest time in may and june when they had the box set sale. If i am wrong then maybe frys had it for that price. I know one of those 2 stores did cause i was thinking of getting it but i held back
so then what makes this a hot deal
Damn, I was waiting for this deal to happen, now I'm hearing all this mumbo jumbo.... I don't want the censored version, can anyone give us a definitive answer?
I have the Live Free Blu Ray but saw the unrated dvd version a few weeks ago. I can't believe the dvd gets teh option and the blu ray didn't. The offisial explanation I'm sure has been mentioned but I can't remember what it is/was. All I know is it sucks.
If there is to be a #5 then I'll wait for a complete box set and maybe THAT one will have the unrated option.
