I don't want to give it away for those people that haven't seen it so I'll just say it was the last ending and Mr. Green has always been my favorite character/player.
The final ending gets me every time. Probably the most well thought out of them all, and when watching with all three it makes for the strongest finish.
I love the ending where they basically all did it except Mr. Green...Madeline Kahn as Mrs White and her admission to killing Yvette...."Yes. Yes, I did it. I killed Yvette. I hated her, so much... it-it- the f - it -flam - flames. Flames, on the side of my face, breathing-breathl- heaving breaths. Heaving breaths... Heathing"....Priceless
I want to see Ending D I herd it was filmed but was cut from the final film (I don't think it was on the DVD). I would say that Ending C is my favorite Ending. I am not a fan of the new weapons and rooms in the more recent version of Clue that came out.
all i have to say is id give my left testicle to win this as this is my all time favorite movie!!!! favorite ending is the 3rd ending the this is what really happened ending. plus the 4th ending. id love to see it when i read about it it sounded really interesting. but yes the third ending. cant beat madeline khan with the flames on the side of her face. lol.
Mr. Green's ending. Definitely a surprise. Though all 3 endings were great - so I enjoy watching the movie with all of them involved. Or it could have happened like this...
1) The contest ends Friday, AUGUST 10th...not July 10th... I'm assuming since this was posted August 4th. (Just some detective work there!)
2) My favorite ending is actually the 2nd ending... everyone singing "Jolly Good Fellow" and the guests outside during the arrest is some of the funniest schtick in the whole movie with zany sound effects and Mr. Green's punchline after Wadsworth says "We're just like the mounties. We always get our man!" I. Die.
3) Other favorites: "The Mirror Crack'd" with Liz Taylor & Angela Lansbury, "Murder by Death" (well duh!), and "Evil Under the Sun".
I don't want to give anything away for people who did not see it but the Mr. Green is the best. That ending made perfect sense the way the film played out.

The option to play all 3 (ending with Mr. Green's) was always the most satisfying for me. Almost like what they did for Wayne's World. "Flames.... FLAMES.... ON THE SIDE OF MY FACE!!!"
The third ending because every possible motive (aside from red herring communism) is paid off with aplomb....it's the only one that really works without a whole lot of logic jumping.
The First Ending. It's the funniest. I love the parts with Col. Mustard and Mrs. White freaking out over Wadsworth shutting off the light and Wadsworth arguing with Miss Scarlett over how many bullets are left in the gun.
I love all three endings. My favorite ending is the final ending with Mr. Green - references the board game and says that he that he did it with the revolver in the hall & says that the call from J. Edgar Hoover was for him, and then "I'm gonna go home to sleep with my wife." It's really well done & funny, and it's the only ending that essentially follows the board game because each person commits a murder, with a motive, it's not just one. However, I do also love the comedy moments inside of each ending and believe watching all three together as part of the complete movie is essential for fully enjoying the movie. I also love in the ending with Mrs. Peacock, when they sing "For she's a jolly good fellow" and Mrs. White starts harmonizing. haha This is easily tied for my top three favorite movies of all time.
The final ending. Finding a way to implicate practically everyone in some sort of murder was pretty genius, and it's got the fantastic Mr. Green reveal too.
Everyone else has chosen the final ending and I am no different. I like it best mainly because of what I think is the funniest exchange in the whole movie "I'm a plant", "I thought you guys were called fruits"! But besides that it really was the best ending.
I like the first ending with Miss Scarlet. I thought it was fitting to have her as the culprit, as she was acting very nonchalant throughout the movie. One plus two plus one plus one?
I don't know which number ending this was, but favorite one is where the culprit is Miss Peacock. I love Eileen Brennan's portrayal and I laugh at her the most each time I've seen the film. With her being the culprit it puts a crazy spin on your excitable, anxious character that's just too weird. As someone above said, the rest of the cast singing "She's a Jolly Good Fellow" is just the cherry on top to the ending.
"I'm gonna go home and sleep with my wife." Classic! Gotta respect an FBI man who can dupe everyone, solve the case and still have time to lay his wife...that man is a PIMP!
