Independent distributors Shout Factory have officially announced that they will release on Blu-ray The Astonishing X-Men Blu-ray Collection. Arriving as a two-disc set, the collection will be available for purchase online and in stores nationwide on November 13th.
The two-disc collection boasts all four Astonishing X-Men adventures from Joss Whedon, the mastermind behind the massive hit film Marvel's The Avengers, and award-winning artist John Cassaday. As one of the most important X-Men stories of all-time, it features over 5 hours of engaging animation combined with non-stop action, as well as all-new cover art illustration by Cassaday.

ASTONISHING X-MEN: GIFTED

In my humble opinion, these 25 issues make up my favorite X-Men story in any medium, and the best thing that Whedon has ever done. I'm all over this release.
