Hey, makers of Lovely Molly: Notice how none of the people above me chose your crap movie as their favorite? Is it because you made a crap movie? Actually, it is not. They're all just too cool to pick it. Bunch o' hipsters and hippies and hip-huggers. That's why I'm picking your movie. My answer, for the record: Lovely Molly. My favorite part was how there's a girl name Molly with weird eyes and she's lovely too.
The best by far is Poltergeist the second would be the Shining and the third would be The House on Haunted Hill (remake). To me haunted house movies should keep you on the edge of your seat and jump so high off you touch the ceiling. Good ones also include The Entity, Paranormal Activity1-3, Amityville Horror, Thirteen Ghosts, and Insidious. For just entertainment I would include Beetlejuice and the Frighteners. I'll be honest I don't know much about Lovely Molly the previews look pretty cool and scary.
Insidious (though its not the house that's haunted)
The Innkeepers (way cool)
The Shining (a classic)
Don't Be Afraid of The Dark (actually good)
Poltergeist (they're heeeere)
The Woman In Black (creepy house with plenty of dark corners)
My top twenty of my favorite haunted house films:

3- Dood Eind (Netherlands)
4- The Others
