Savages: Unrated Edition Blu-ray

Posted August 21, 2012 03:01 PM by Webmaster

Universal StudiosUniversal Studios Home Entertainment has officially announced that it will release a combo pack edition of acclaimed director Oliver Stone's Savages (2012), starring Aaron Johnson, Taylor Kitsch and Blake Lively. Laguna Beach entrepreneurs Ben (Johnson) and Chon (Kitsch) raise and sell some of the best marijuana ever developed, while sharing a one-of-a-kind love with the extraordinary beauty Ophelia (Lively). Their idyllic life is shattered when the Mexican Baja Cartel demands that the trio partner with them. But the cartel's merciless boss, Elena (Salma Hayek), and her brutal enforcer, Lado (Benicio Del Toro), underestimate the unbreakable bonds among these three friends.

Salma Hayek was incredibly good in this film. If the film had been received better, a Best Supporting Actress nomination for her for sure. =( 1 day for me!

Day one for me! I am Oliver Stone fan, he changed my idea of films when I saw Platoon in the 6th grade forever. Lately his films have been ok not the greatness that he showed early on. I have not seen this mind you, but it looks up my alley. Plus it's a day before my birthday might be able to get someone to get it for me so I don't have to shell out the cash haha.

This looked great but I missed it theatrically. Hopefully this Unrated version includes more male nudity .

@MikeScott: I think you may like the opening of the film. We have a view from, um, behind as TK is puttin' the stones to Blake.

I saw this movie. Didn't hate it, didn't love it. I think $7.99-$9.99 is appropriate to wait for.
