Independent distributors Olive Films have revealed that they are preparing two box sets for Blu-ray release: The Otto Preminger Collection (Hurry Sundown, Skidoo, Such Good Friends) and Film Noir Collection Vol. 1 (Union Station, Appointment With Danger, Dark City, Rope of Sand). Exact technical specs and supplemental features to be included with these upcoming releases are unknown at the moment.
The Otto Preminger Collection (3BD set)
1. Hurry Sundown (1967)
2. Skidoo (1968)
3. Such Good Friends (1971) Film Noir Collection Vol. 1 (4BD set)
1. Union Station (1950)
2. Appointment With Danger (1951)
3. Dark City (1950)
4. Rope of Sand (1949)
It would be a good thing if Olive paid more attention to quality: single-layered discs of which only 13 GB is used for the film seem the norm, unfortunately. But then again the speed with which they issue titles should be indicative of this technical sloppiness.
