The UK branch of Universal Studios Home Entertainment has officially announced that it will release on Blu-ray Grimm: Season One. The release will be available for purchase online and in shops across the United Kingdom on October 22.
From the producers of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel comes a dark and pulse beating adventure, set in a world where supernatural beings (Grimms) gorge on the City of Portland. Renewed for a second season and created by Stephen Carpenter, David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf, Grimm Season One is the highest rated drama series on WATCH, with over 1 million viewers tuning in each week.
Grimm stars David Giuntoli (Love Bites, Cold Case), who plays Nick Burkhardt, a detective of the Portland Police Bureau, who sees disturbed visions, and Silas Weir Mitchell (The Mentalist), who plays Monrow, Nicks friend and 'a reformed creature' who is the source of insight into the supernatural community. Nick's partner and best friend Hank Griffin (Suits, Shameless), is played by Russell Hornsby, while Bitsie Tulloch (The Artist, House MD), plays Nick's girlfriend, Juliette Silverton. Sasha Roiz (Castle, Caprica) is Captain Sean Renard, Nick's superior officer and a member of the creature community of unknown origin, of which Nick has no idea. Reggie Lee (The Dark Knight Rises) plays Sergeant Wu, a policeman who works with Nick and Hank; he tends to do the "grunt work" for them, running down facts and information.
