Even though I live in a chithole (small town, Eastern IA), I'm very lucky to have a nice indie theater 25 miles away. For a small indie theater in a crappy town, they do an excellent job of getting almost all the indie movies eventually (the AMC gets some of the others). ANYWAY, we saw this 3 weeks ago and really enjoyed it. The Duplass bros really do good work (we enjoyed "Jeff At Home" a lot too).
Luckily this came to my theater for a week. I thought it was great. One of my favorite movies of the year. Aubrey Plaza was fantastic. Definitely a must-buy. I hate having to wait another two months :P.
Really enjoyed this one. Unfortunately, the nearest indie theater is about 180 miles away in Scottsdale, Ariz. so I don't get to catch too many of the films I want to see but I try to make time to squeeze in a film or two when I'm in that general area and fortunately this is one I was able to catch on the big screen. I'd enjoy watching this again but not sure I'm going to buy it until the price is right.
