Summit Entertainment, a Lionsgate company, has officially announced that it will release a combo pack (2D/3D Blu-ray) edition of Scott Speer's Step Up 4: Revolution 3D (2012), starring Kathryn McCormick, Ryan Guzman and Cleopatra Coleman. The release will be available for purchase on November 27th.
Touching upon themes of love, injustice and hope, the film, set in Miami, follows two dancers leading a crew in cutting-edge dance performances that ultimately rally the locals to protest against planned commercial development that would wipe out their homes and businesses. The fourth installment in the fan-favorite film franchise Step Up, Step Up: Revolution is directed by Scott Speer, written by Amanda Brody and based on characters created by Duane Adler, and produced by Adam Shankman, Jennifer Gibgot, Patrick Wachsberger and Erik Feig.
Emily (McCormick) arrives in Miami with aspirations of becoming a professional dancer and soon falls in love with Sean (Guzman), a young man who leads a dance crew in elaborate, cutting-edge flash mobs, called "The Mob." When a wealthy businessman threatens to develop The Mob's historic neighborhood and displace thousands of people, Emily must band together with Sean and The Mob to turn their performance art into protest art, and risk losing their dreams to fight for a greater cause.

This is day 1 for me and i have any money on that day. I enjoyed Step Up 2 & Step Up 3 which i have on Blu-Ray 3D, definitely will be picking this up on Blu-Ray 3D.
rent for me, the first was good but 2 and 3 have just been ok for me
should've called it Step Up 4 The Revolution or something.. since it was Step Up 2 The Streets and Step Up 3D, putting the number as part of the title basically
By far the best of the Step Up movies. First half was a little weak, but the second half really surprised me. Plus there was little to no rap music during the entire movie which was a huge plus.
You know the studio is gonna make us double dip when the national film registry deems the film to be culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.
These movies are definitely a guilty pleasure for me...I own 2 & 3 (still haven't seen the first one just yet)...but 'Step Up: Revolution' made 'Step Up 3D' look like 'Citizen Kane'! I won't be picking this one up at all.
This one was underwhelming, Step Up 3D blew me away, it was cheesy - yet it was fun.
This just left me saying erhh. I'll eventually pick up for a home viewing.
