PBS has announced the Blu-ray release of Downton Abbey: Season 3 for early next year. The 3-disc set will include all eight original UK edition episodes, a 45-minute behind the scenes featurette and more.
Julian Fellowes's Golden Globe and Emmy Award winning series chronicles the post-World War I lives of the wealthy Crawley family and their ever-jealous servants, and stars Hugh Bonneville (Robert Crawley), Elizabeth McGovern (Cora Crawley) and, for the first time in Season 3, Shirley MacLaine (Martha Levinson.) With the Great War over, Robert, Earl of Grantham, struggles to keep Downton psychologically and financially stable, unlike so many other, now crippled great houses.
