Universal is bringing Focus Features' frightfully funny and magically emotional ParaNorman to Blu-ray this November. The stop-motion family horror features the voice talents of Kodi Smit-McPhee (Let Me In), Tucker Albrizzi (Good Luck Charlie), and Anna Kendrick (Twilight) and will be available on 3D Blu-ray Combo Pack and Blu-ray Combo on November 27th.
The makers of Coraline sculpt the story of Norman, a boy who must use his gift of
seeing and speaking with the dead to save his town from a centuries-old curse about to come true. Caught in a wild race against time, the young ghoul whisperer will find his paranormal abilities pushed to their otherworldly limits as he bravely summons up all that makes a hero – courage and compassion.

Even though I didn't like Coraline I was excited to see ParaNorman and was not impressed. It did have a few good lines and the animation was good but the story fell flat for me.....However Hotel Transylvania was AWSOME!!
Because he said "Go Mitt" and the unpopular opinion always gets voted down on Blu-ray.com and there are probably more Democrats than Republicans on here. Two thirds of my posts get voted down because I don't like the majority of mainstream films and although I always make constructive comments, if it doesn't follow the mass opinion like a good little sheep, folks hit the minus button here on this site to make your opinion disappear. Sad but true. I'm of the opinion that they should just get rid of those silly buttons altogether. Heck, I'll most likely get voted down for saying this!! Just watch...
I accidentally deleted my original comment so here it is for reference "Why is Boothill Gunslinger's comment voted down?"
That's unfortunate that people would do that, I don't support either candidates, but everyone has a right to their opinion and even if I disagree with it voting it down doesn't seem necessary, though if someone voted it down because it seems like a quick way to start an argument on the Paranorman news page then I would agree.
Anyway really excited about Paranorman being released!
I don't give a rats ass about people downvoting me. My opinion on certain films is just that, my personal opinion. If u agree with what I'm saying, cool. If u don't, then that's you're problem. I'm not here on Blu-Ray.com to be popular. The Man in Blu@, vader4@ & Boothill Gunslinger@, I would not worry about it. But I suspect we have "some" Basement trolls on this page anyway, but whatever. Once again I'll be buying this film day one. I'm outta here like day old underwear...
Is Universal switching to including both 3D and 2D on the same disc? As both editions are listed as only 2-disc combos, but each only includes 1 BD. I'd like to know if it'll be a 3D/2D BD combo disc or another BD/DVD combo disc like Big Miracle, assuming the package specs aren't wrong both here and on amazon for the 3D edition. I don't trust they can squeeze both 3D, 2D, and extras onto the same disc without significant compromise. If it's a 3D/2D hybrid, I'll switch my preorder to the 2D edition, since I don't have 3D right now and 3D is bound to be cheaper by the time I do.
I'd like to know that as well about the 3D/2D disc. I also don't own a 3D player/TV but I've been buying the 3D versions then selling the 3D disc on ebay to recoup the cost down to around $8-$10 total for the title I want. If they are starting to do this I may have to start cutting way back on new releases until they get much cheaper or I find them used online.
