Eagle Rock Entertainment will release on Blu-ray Let the Music Play: The Story of the Doobie Brothers on November 13. Let The Music Play is the authorized story of The Doobie Brothers from their beginnings in California in 1970 to worldwide success, selling over 40 million albums during their long career.
The film features interviews with band members Patrick Simmons, Tom Johnston, Michael McDonald, John McFee ,Tiran Porter, Jeff "Skunk" Baxter, their manager Bruce Cohn and long term producer Ted Templeman, revealing the full story of the band's highs and lows through four decades of musical evolution.
As well as the film itself, Let The Music Play – The Story Of The Doobie Brothers features bonus live performances of: "Rainy Day Crossroad Blues," "Without You," "Listen To The Music," "Black Water," "Takin' It To The Streets," "Rockin' Down The Highway," "Neal's Fandango," "Long Train Runnin'," and "China Grove".
