I didn't get to see this in theaters, It looks alright (it has a great cast), so I'll give this film a shot. But I don't think it will top the original Bourne trilogy. I been hearing ok things from other people, but I'll always come here to this website to get the 411 from people who really know movies...
A darn good movie filled with excellent performances. Without giving anything away, there is a scene in this movie that absolutely chilled me to the bone. I truly hope we get to see the next chapter of Aaron Cross' life.
I thought it was good for a reboot/spin-off. The story material itself has a lot of potential for sequels, as Legacy hinted at some of the cerebral/conspiracy sides of the franchise. All it needs now is a more action-oriented director to take the helm from Gilroy, who hopefully can at least continue helping on the paper side. I really wish Tony Scott were still around, though, as I think he'd have been a great candidate for the extra oomph Aaron Cross needs.
This movie was like a pop tart. It wasn't very filling, but It kinda hit the spot at that moment but it left me hungry for more. I Hope Matt Damon returns and they actually decide to include an ending in the next one. I seriously thought my theater forgot a reel
This movie was terrible, who are you guys kidding? It was a massive disappointment, in every way. I tell Bourne fans not to even bother seeing this film.
For people that thought this was a good movie for a bourne movie are wrong. It was alright, but didnt get no where close to even the first bourne. Even as a spin-off if thats what there doing, the story was pretty thin. They definitely misused Edward Norton too.
This was by far the weakest of the series. The story was kinda' ridiculous (chems). That said, I'll buy it. I like a lot of the people in it. I like action. I like outdoorsy/wintery scenes a lot.
If they extend the series hopefully the next installment has a better story.
Pre ordered this for the free ticket and will definitely be keeping it. Not as good as Identity or Ultimatum but better than Supremacy. Really enjoyed this and hope to see a Damon/Renner team up in the future.
Probably the worst film I've seen this year in the cinema. So ridiculously bland & predictable. Not even going to bother getting it cheap to complete the Bourne series.
This was the second most disappointing movie of the year for me (#1 was Prometheus). Too many scenes of the leads traveling from place to place with nothing interesting ever happening to them.
My ex-sister in law watched them filming the Boat scenes in El-Nido, Palawan, Philippines and said there was a major fire fight and multiple explosions. So I presume they filmed part of the next instalment back to back and it looks like they have been found in their hideaway. She also spotted Edward Norton there so I think it's really gonna kick off for the 2nd part.
Good God what a bunch of wet blankets! What version of the movie did most of you see? The one where half the print was missing. This movie was excellent. Definite must have for me!
