Lionsgate Films will bring to Blu-ray director Mabrouk El Mechri's (JCVD) latest film The Cold Light of Day (2012), starring Henry Cavill, Bruce Willis, Sigourney Weaver, and Verónica Echegui. The release will be available for purchase online and in stores across the nation on January 29th.
Will Shaw (Cavill, TV's The Tudors) arrives in Spain for a week-long sailing vacation with his family, despite having a strained relationship with his disciplinarian father Martin (Willis, The Expendables 2). The situation takes an unexpected and violent turn when his family is kidnapped by intelligence agents. Will's world turns upside down as he gets tangled in an intergovernmental web of lies and secrets, with a briefcase in the center of the mystery. Will finds himself on the run and realizes that he must recover the briefcase and take down secret agents in order to get his family back alive.
