Independent British distributors Momentum Pictures have announced that they will release on Blu-ray director Luis Prieto's Pusher (2012), starring Richard Coyle, Bronson Webb and Agyness Deyn. The release will be available for purchase on February 4th.
Richard Coyle and Agyness Deyn star in this English language remake of Nicolas Winding Refn's (Drive, Valhalla Rising) 1996 crime thriller of the same name. The film follows a particularly stressful week in the life of London drug dealer Frank (Coyle). When a deal goes wrong, Frank's life is plunged into chaos and violence and he becomes trapped and isolated in a nightmare of his own making.
I was hoping to see a U.S. release of the Pusher trilogy released when Drive was (to cash in on interest in the director). Hopefully we'll still see a release someday.
