Is a human Borg still an alien? I say yes, cos they would still have enough Borg in them to count. And since I say yes, I vote for 7 of 9, from Star Trek: Voyager.
The spacebound, alien computers at the end of 2001: A Space Odyssey.
That's how I interpret it anyway. They were expecting the next stage in evolution, which would have been HAL. But seeing as he malfunctioned, they got Dave. A great debate was had and they agreed to accept Dave. Starchild, the end.
SO MANY come to mind......like Killer Klowns from Outer Space!!! (If we got invaded by these guys, there's a good chance most of us would survive! Predator, Xenomorphs Not so much.....)
wanted to say Gort from 1951 Day The Earth Stood Still but I guess alien robots wouldn't count...
...so my alternate choices are
Xenomorph in the first Alien film
or E.T.
