Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will bring to Blu-ray director Rian Johnson's futuristic action film Looper (2012), starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, Jeff Daniels and Emily Blunt. The preliminary release date set by the studio is December 31.
In the year 2044 time travel has not yet been invented. But in 30 years it will have been. In Rian Johnson's highly anticipated futuristic action thriller, Joe (Gordon-Levitt) works as a looper, an assassin who eliminates targets sent back in time by a criminal organisation. The only rule is never to let your target escape – even if that target is you.

One of the best of 2012. The less you know about this movie before watching it, the better. There is an incredible, Oscar-worthy performance in this movie, but it cannot be discussed without giving away the 2nd half of the film (if you've seen it, you know who I am talking about and more than likely agree with me).
