This holiday season, Universal Studios Home Entertainment is releasing director Jason Moore's Pitch Perfect, starring Anna Kendrick, Anna Camp, Brittany Snow and Rebel Wilson. The irreverent musical comedy arrives on Blu-ray via a BD/DVD/UltraViolet digital copy Combo Pack on December 18th.
Beca (Kendrick), a freshman at Barden University, joins The Bellas, an all-girls acoustic singing group. Inspiring her fellow singers to transform their traditional arrangements and perfect harmonies into all-new mashups, The Bellas fight to climb their way to the top of college music competition circuit, which could either wind up being the coolest thing they'll ever do or the most insane, or perhaps a little bit of both.

I was actually very pleasantly surprised by this movie. Couple of scenes I could have done without (the vomiting reeked of pandering to the gross out crowd), but on the whole, a decent comedy with a great soundtrack.
This movie was hilarious....my wife and I went and saw it 3 weeks after release and the theater was still packed...We have been talking about the movie and how badly we want to see it again....It was basically Bring It On meets Glee, so some people will not like it but Rebel Wilson is hilarious in this flick!!! Worth a 1st day purchase in my eyes!!
I was dragged to watch this with my girlfriend... and I was pleasantly surprised! Very funny throughout, Anna Kendrick was cute, and that girl from Project X (Alexis Knapp) had some tig ol' bitties I didn't know were that huge! ) Something for all of us couples. Definitely Day one and two copies; one for each since I know she'll watch it many more times.
