Anger Management: Season One Blu-ray

Posted November 26, 2012 03:48 PM by Webmaster

Lionsgate FilmsLionsgate Films has officially announced and detailed its upcoming Blu-ray release of Anger Management: Season One, whose debut episode was the most watched primetime scripted comedy series premiere in cable history. The release will be available for purchase on January 8th.

Anger Management: Season One stars Charlie Sheen (TV's Two And A Half Men, Wall Street) as "Charlie" in his most unlikely role to date, a therapist specializing in anger management. Sheen is joined by a hilarious cast, which includes Selma Blair (Columbus Circle) as his therapist/friend with benefits, Shawnee Smith (Saw) his ex-wife and their 13-year-old daughter, Daniela Bobadilla (TV's Lies In Plain Sight).

Special Features:
  • Charlie's Baby - New Interviews with Charlie Sheen, the cast and the series' creator
  • Behind The Couch: Meet Charlie's Patients - On set with the anger-impaired therapy group and the actors who play them
  • Anger Mismanagement - Gag Reel

I thought it had its moments, especially the episode with Martin Sheen, but I'm not so sure I necessarily need to own it. Still I will be continuing to watch it on tv!

Seriously this is getting a blu-ray release? Also surprised this is listed as "Season 1" and not "Volume 1" considering the recent 90-episode renewal.

This show sucks. BAD. I love Charlie Sheen, but I hate my Mom and Dad sometimes too, know what I mean?

@6SIXX6 I think you could of made your point a little better. I know what you mean though. I love my sister but I don't like her and I really dislike her company overall so I'm not prepared to invest my time in something that won't add any value or enjoyment to my life.

Is Anger Management "hilarious" like Two and a Half Men was hilarious? If so it seems the definition of "hilarious" has changed radically.

I found the first two or three episodes average but it got better and it has grown on me and by the last episode, I was really into this show. At a low price of $20.99 on Amazon.ca, I might just have to pre-order

Come on, it is not bad at all. It sure beats the latest Two And A Half Men episodes....
Let us give it another season to see if it gets funnier.
I think that they need to keep on changing the cast members that come in for therapy though (not sure if they can do that)....
