Strand Releasing Acquire Post Tenebras Lux

Independent U.S. distributors Strand Releasing have acquired the U.S. distribution to acclaimed Mexican director Carlos Reygadas' latest film, Post Tenebras Lux (2012), starring Adolfo Jim�nez Castro, Nathalia Acevedo and Willebaldo Torres. The film will have a limited theatrical release in 2013. Earlier this year, Post Tenebras Lux was screened at the Cannes Film Festival where it was nominated for the prestigious Palme d'Or Award and won Best Director Award. Synopsis: Juan (Castro) and his urban family live in the Mexican countryside, where they enjoy and suffer a world apart. And nobody knows if these two worlds are complementary or if they strive to eliminate one another. Note: Other films by Carlos Reygadas not yet available on Blu-ray include Battle In Heaven (2005), Silent Light (2007), and Japan (2002).
