Even though my Home Theater System Receiver is rated at 140 Watts/Channel @ 8 ohms, I am using the XPA-3 to power my Front Main (Left, Center and Right) Speakers, and letting my Onkyo 3009 receiver take care of the (Front High, Sides and Rear) Surrounds.
