I’ve seen movies about chimps in space and Muppets from space, but Nazis in space? That’s a new one. “Iron Sky” is a semi-farcical take on a futureworld German invasion, manipulating a low budget splendidly, turning limited resources into a feature that could compete with the blockbusters on a visual scale. However, its sense of humor is on the emaciated side, imagining itself as a Kubrickian romp out to tickle American politics, Nazi taboos, and war picture traditions.
