Parachute Battalion 1941

In the months before Pearl Harbor, with much of the world already at war, a group of young Americans (including Robert Preston and Edmond O'Brien) enlist in the paratroopers and are sent to Fort Benning, Georgia, for training. There they develop their military skills while engaging in a romantic rivalry over their master sergeant's daughter (Nancy Kelly). Filmed on location at Fort Benning, and featuring actual members of the 501st Parachute Battalion. Co-stars Kelly and O'Brien were briefly married in real life.
