(2016)

In 1989 (the 64th year of the Showa era) a young girl is kidnapped and murdered. For 14 years, the Criminal Investigation Unit in the Prefectural Police have been unable to solve the crime and the statute of limitations is fast approaching. Then in 2002, ex-detective Mikamai who was on the case 14 years ago, is promoted to Public Relations in the Police Affairs when a new case with exactly the same M.O. as the old case from 64 crops up.
