Oh my god. I literally can't remember exactly what context I got to watch these toons from when I was a kid (I want to say... Pee Wee's Playhouse?) but I'm getting a strange nostalgic feeling.

I remember watching Ant and the Aardvark, Inspector, Misterjaw and Sheriff Hoot Kloot as a kid but the rest if I did see them I cannot remember them.

Before anybody asks for more like this from Kino remember these are MGM properties which Kino has a deal with just like Olive released the Betty Boops because it has a deal with Paramount.

Kino answered a question on Facebook and said that they don't have the rights to the Pink Panther cartoons because MGM has plans for them!! Bring them on MGM!!

They also said that all of these cartoons have been totally remastered in HD.

After a rather drab release schedule for 2015, this certainly makes up for it.

Hats off to Kino for releasing the entire 34 Inspector episodes, since only 17 of them were released by 20th Century Fox a few years ago.

Ahh... the great John Byner doing his best Jackie Mason impression for the Aardvark...
[feels smile creeping across face]

All in for Ant and the Aardvark and The Inspector...

Interesting, if they are bringing The Inspector, I wonder if this will include any of the Pink Panther crossovers
