Sweetness. I want this. I know this set is good and can vouch for almost all the films.

Does the fact that the set is slated to get DTS-HD Master Audio mean we're going to get Blazing Saddles with loseless audio? I was disappointed to see that the original Blu had lossy and it would make this epic set that much better if we can hear the campfire scene in lossless audio.

Interesing monkey...the encode would be different but Blazing was a Warner release with VC-1 and DD 5.1......did Fox get a new encode and losless audio for it?

Don't expect to see a new disc for Blazing Saddles. It will most likely be the Warner disc.

I would be willing to bet Blazing Saddles is the same old Warner release. History of the World and High Anxiety never had true stereo but Silent Movie does and it's a brilliant musical score by John Morris...the fact they are including isolated score tracks in DTS MA , well I say hats off to Fox for doing this what a great inclusion though I am sad to see the isolated score is not listed for Silent Movie (though actually, since there isn't much else in that soundtrack except a few sound effects, it wouldn't be that much different but on the other hand an isolated score usually comes from the master tapes and sounds much better).

I may be in the minority but I think Silent Movie is the best gem in the box (of the 5 unreleased Blu's).

It's too bad Blazing Saddles wasn't made by Fox too, we would have lossless audio and probably an isolated score track

They still are calling the commentary on Blazing Saddles scene specific, IT's NOT! it's a 55 min interview that runs duiring the first 2/3 or so of the film but it does have some interest tidbits though. Plus the packaging sucks. I'll wait for seperate releases.

Nice sounding collection, except I already have Blazing, Frankenstein and Spaceballs. When are we going to see The Producers on Blu, the one remaining Brooks film I actually want?

Very strange The Producers won't be included, since it is released my MGM/UA Home Video, and so is Spaceballs, which leads me to believe there is some kind of rights issue.

Do you think the Blus that are included that are already released will be the same in the set? And for those who have Spaceballs already, how is it when you watch in ludicrus speed?

MNTwister - I am right there with you - I think Silent Movie is probably the best of the Brooks films.

@ mgdvd, he isn't referring to that Producers. He is most likely talking about the original version. The GOOD one, or the BETTER one I should say. Still looking forward to this if the price is right.
