I don't think this is a mistake. Warner needs several weeks advance notice to cancel orders and they
are very up-front about this. Call and ask. They'll tell you. I know because I tried to cancel a couple
titles back in September and it was problematic. Just return what you don't want and more
importantly, don't place an order if there's a chance you might need to cancel it.

Amel, I don't want them going DUD exclusive. Just get a new board of directors who can fix all of this mess, or if they are doing their job and its the ones below them messing up then get rid of them and say "Thanks, but your a f&#k up. Here is your pink slip."

Hell nah! There's no chance of Warner going HD exclusive because they'll lose too much money

Warner must go Blu exclusive mix ups or not. This is just further proof that they are trying to eat more than they can chew. Warner please go Blu-Ray exclusive and tidy up your house, the future of HDM depends on you!

I truly hope people are good about returning these orders. I've been told to refuse shipment in cases
like this but it's not exactly clear how one goes about refusing shipment when the mail is delivered
while you are not home.

WB deserves better luck lately.

So many mistakes and blunders. Maybe now we know why they supported hd-dvd to begin with: a mistake and a blunder !

Hmmm- it seems to ME that if they sent you an order you CANCELLED- as long as they don't charge you it shouldn't be too bad- legally they SHOULDN'T be charging you for THEIR mistake-

Man- Warner's really got issues- it seems they're all high. oh Well!

They've probably outsourced their shipping and handling to some inexpensive third party dealer. I had to contact someone from www.inside12x12.com to get the Harry Potter replacement disc. Maybe this has something to do with their problems.

Looks like Blu-ray movies are doing so well that Warner is having a hard time getting their system to work right. Good job buying all those Warner BDs, All. Blade Runner and Harry Potter are excellent products, too bad some customers got screwed when they opened them.

I hope Warner learns a lesson from this and stop supporting HD DVD to concentrate on Blu so they won't have to shaft the customers that buy more of their movies.

I personally don't mind warner staying format neutral, but I do take umbrage with them using that lousy blurry VC - 1 instead of the sharp Hi-Def AVC! Believe me that I can tell the difference with watching 300 and Bladerunner and.. well anything using that "DVD upconverted" style code called VC - 1.

They just use the One format that can be read by both H-DuD and B-Disc to do it on the cheeep!

Disgusting.

I'm sick of there negligence, crappy HDDVD port overs with VC-1 encodes & DD audio! Dump HDDVD already & start putting all the wonderful WB movies out with AVC encodes & lossless audio...PLEASE!!!!

I canceled a few items about a month and a half ago and yet they shipped out Corpse Bride which at that time I already ordered off Amazon. I refused to accept the package (which is almost 3 weeks ago now) and still waiting for my refund!! If nothing by the end of December I will dispute the charge...

With great power comes great responsibility, Warner you have the power to go blu and the responsibility to end this war.

Just got HarryPotter OOTP and man one of the best blu rays WB put out this year.
who ever buys that movie on HD-DUD is just R.E.-Tarded all the extras on blu are in 1080i and 1080p.

All the extras on HD-DUD are 480i and 480p. blu is the tru HighDef experience more bang for your buck.

Contact them? LMAO yea right. Who in there right might would do that. OK, anyone in there right mind should. BUT, maybe this will be the final hit on the head to Warner to get their act together.

Edit: Oh... well if you have to pay for the canceled order still, then you'd DEFINITELY want to contact them.

This is a result of their crappy ordering/inventory system. It has nothing to do with BD vs HD DVD. Even if they go Blu exclusive, their ordering system would still suck.

Well, I cancelled three items in two seperate orders. They all shipped. I want to send them all back so they don't get my money, but its not worth it. I don't even want to think of the hoops I would have to jump through to get the refund. I'm just putting them up on eBay. I think I might call them and complain anyway. This is by far the worst service I have ever received from an online retailer.

Damn...this is happening a lot to me
first Amazon packs a 2nd copy of Harry Potter 4 in my order without charging me....then my canceled HP boxset gets shipped to me from warner.
Tho I did end up with the HD-DVD boxset and not the Blu-Ray one/
I thought I wouldn't apply to this cancelled order shipping as I canceled it September 1st....lol
