* Adds slow and freeze frame functions during Blu-ray Disc and DVD playback.
* Improves compatibility to enhance interactivity with some BD-ROMs.

* Adds BD-Live functionality.
o BD-Live allows you to enjoy additional content and services while playing a BD-Live capable disc.

o BD-Live content and services require external USB flash memory (sold separately) for local storage.
* Improved sensitivity to the Remote Commander® signal while the player is in stand-by mode.

The 020 version popped up on Sony's webpage recently.
I'm from Australia and when I tried for a network update, it told me my machine was already up to date with the 019 version. Does this mean that the 020 firmware update is only for US model S350s?
My S350 just recently upgraded to whatever is the latest. Took em 5 months. No news whats in the new Firmware?? Figured there'd be a new one not long after Samsung and the S350 and S360 both had new firmware.
with this new update MOVIE IQ launches I've already watched angels and demons with the function and it's very usefull!! you get to know lots of things!
How do I connect the S350 to wireless internet in order to get the fimware updates? The manual makes reference to a "LAN media converter" and a "LAN router". I'm confused. Thanks for your help.
I just call Sony (800)222-7669 whenever there's an upgrade and they send me a firmware DVD disc each time in the mail for free. Never a hitch that way. BTW the S550 uses the same firmware.

I called the 800 number and in 5 minutes or so on the phone I have (FREE) the update dvd arriving in roughly a week. Sweet....thanks unclestevie!!!
