The latest firmware update is creating issues and both methods of updating by CD-R and by Wireless is making my player freeze. Samsung tech support has no answers.
Anyone have an issue playing Transporter 3 on Samsung Bluray players. I have returned movie to the store twice. My Sony Bluray player is able to play the movie fine, but I cannot play on the Samsung player. All other movies play fine on either one. Any suggestions?????
dajns55 i recently bought the godfather blu rays and they wouldnt play on my samsung either i took it back and they tested it on the ps3 it played fine, i replaced it for new one and it worked fine. These blu rays trip sometimes
Running 2.07 without issues. With 2.05, was having problems playing .MKV files where it would start playing them stop immediately. That problem is completely fixed (so far) with 2.07.
I have a Samsung BD P3600 and am having troubles viewing Alvin and the Chipmonks the Squeakual. Will not Play and it lock up the playr ave exchanged movie at 3 different walmarts with no success in playback. Only disk that has issues player works great otherwise. Sherlock Holmes Blue Ray Plays great. Has anyone else had this issue with the chipmonks ll Blue Ray?
I recently upgraded my firmware and now none of my remotes work wtf??? I can power off and eject disc but no other buttons work. will reinstalling helP?
UPDATE if anyone had this problem, its an easy fix just reset the remote and player, to reset remote remove batteries and hold power button for 30 seconds. To reset player Power it on and hold the fast forward button down for 10 seconds. It worked

yes it froze for 3 hours. could be interruption during download thru network wifi. didn't do cd. try unplugging player, wait for 30 seconds, then plug in. hit eject button, then "info" button to make sure if old version is still on there. if so, then close tray and start over. worked second time. don't know which movie this update is for. could be avatar, alice in wonderland or some other big BB hit. good luck.
Updated to 2.07 without any issue via an Ethernet to internet connection. So far no playback problems or other operational glitches (such as with Youtube or Pandora).
I also have been having problems playing certain blu rays. Samsung support is worthless. They had no ideas at all. I contacted Universal Studios support because a lot of their disks wouldn't play. They suggested that I try playing after turning off the internet connection to the player, saying transmission speed may be a factor. After turning off the connection to the player, I was able to play the movie "Atonement" that wouldn't play with the internet connected. In fact, as a bonus, when it loaded, it went directly to the disk menu, skipping all the previews. So far, this is my only example.
I had to manually download 2.12 in order for Iron Man 2 to play back properly. The audio kept getting out of sync. The automatic update function didn't say there were any new versions until I saw on their site that 2.12 was released. Thanks...Samsung??
Problems last night with 2.12 and playback of new Alien BD. The audio would get out of sync just like it did with Iron Man 2 (which 2.12 fixed). Anyone hear of this?
