Kino Lorber have detailed their upcoming Blu-ray release of Brian Trenchard-Smith's film The Quest (1986), starring Henry Thomas, Tony Barry, and Rachel Friend. The release will be available for purchase on August 11.

Defying all authority, Cody and his girlfriend embark on a search that takes them into the shadow-land of mystery and to the edge of death. Written by Everett De Roche (Razorback, Race for the Yankee Zephyr) and featuring a top-notch score by the great Brian May (Mad Max, Road Games, The Road Warrior), The Quest is a treat for the whole family with a backdrop of spectacular Australian scenery.

I Was So Excited To See This Finally Coming To Disc Format. I've Owned This On VHS For Year's And Can Finally Retire It. And... Yes, It Would Be Nice If We Could Get Cloak And Dagger On (Blu-ray) Soon Too.
I am not sure how I have never heard of this movie. I am going to have to check it out! And, I second the requests for Cloak and Dagger. "Jack Flack says to always keep your gun loaded."
Never heard of this but that cover hits the 80's nostalgia button...may blind buy this one. Also jumping on the Cloak and Dagger bandwagon - that one is way overdue.
To any UK readers of a certain age, that's "The Go-Kids", which was saddled with that awful title and suspiciously familiar artwork to cash in on The Goonies.
This little movie were regulary on TV back then in the late 80s. haven't seen it since then. remember still many scenes. Hopefully there will be also a german bluray release
