One of the special features is "Feature film in high definition", and only two bonus features after that? Yeah, this has double dip written all over it, possibly via Criterion.
wow, i didn't realize "feature film in high definition" was a special feature... i'll never look at my so-called "bare-bones" releases again. at least they have the feature film, AND sound!

Back in the early days of DVD, the labels would describe just about anything as a "special feature". It got to the point where some folks would joke: "Special Features: Round Disc, Hole in the Middle".
This movie was my biggest disappointment of the last few years. I adore Richard Linklater, and the Before Trilogy is up there with my favorite films ever made. I plan to give this one more watch before making my mind up entirely, but it *really* didn't do anything for me in theaters.
Liked the movie, especially the 1st part when the kids are young, but to be honest I expected something more powerfull (Zach Braff's Wish I Was Here moved me much more).
I liked the premise and was on board for the first half but the longer it went on the less interesting it got - like TheGentlemanBat said it just didn't grab me emotionally and it almost felt like we were running through a check list of scenes that were too short and with very little substance - the film was probably not helped also by Ellar Colltrane as Mason, who's acting limitations were exposed the older he got.
